Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of online1.uk and to the courses, training, and learning materials supplied by London Strategic Nexus (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Before purchasing a course, please read the course description, price, schedule, and any course-specific terms that may apply.
1. About us
Online1 provides professional, academic and skills-based training courses delivered online and/or through other learning formats.
If you have any questions regarding these Terms & Conditions, please contact us through our Contact Us page.
2. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to people buying courses for personal use and, where relevant, to organisations buying courses for their staff.
Some legal rights differ depending on whether you are a consumer or buying for business purposes. Nothing in these terms removes any rights that consumers have under applicable law.
3. Course registration and accounts
When registering for a course, you must provide accurate and complete information and keep your account details secure. You must not share your account or course access with another person.
You must be at least 18 years old to register, unless a parent or guardian gives any consent required by law and agrees to these terms on your behalf.
We may refuse or suspend a registration if information provided is materially inaccurate, payment is not made, or you seriously breach these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue.
4. Course information, fees, and payment
The course page or order information will set out the course’s main features, price, delivery format, schedule, and any stated entry or technology requirements. Please check these details before ordering.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). Payment is due at the time and by the method shown during checkout, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
We may change prices for future orders. A price change will not affect an order we have already accepted.
Your order is accepted when we send you confirmation.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Your cancellation and refund rights are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it before ordering. If there is a conflict, any consumer rights provided by law will apply.
If you buy online as a consumer, you may generally have a 14-day right to cancel. The cancellation period and any exceptions depend on the type of course and how it is supplied.
If you ask us to begin a service during the 14 day cancellation period, we will ask for your express consent. If you then cancel after the service has begun, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service already supplied, where the law allows.
For digital content supplied during the cancellation period, we will obtain your express consent and acknowledgement where required by law. Your cancellation right will only be lost where the legal requirements for that exception are met.
6. Changes to courses and cancellations by us
We may make minor changes to course materials, tutors, or schedules where reasonably necessary for example, to correct an error, respond to a tutor’s unavailability, or reflect a change in law or professional practice. We will take reasonable steps to avoid materially reducing the course’s stated features.
If we need to make a significant change to a course you have booked, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the options available. Depending on the circumstances, these may include accepting the change, transferring to a suitable alternative, or cancelling for a refund of the affected course fees.
If we cancel a course, we will notify affected learners and provide an appropriate refund or other remedy in accordance with the Refund Policy and applicable law.
7. Course materials and intellectual property
Course materials, including videos, documents, slides, recordings, downloads, and other learning content, belong to us or our licensors.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own learning in connection with the course you purchased. You must not copy, publish, sell, distribute, publicly share, or make the materials available to others, except where we have given written permission or the law allows it.
You must not record live sessions unless we have given permission. You may not use course materials in a way that infringes another person’s intellectual property rights.
8. Website use and learner conduct
You must use our website and learning platforms lawfully and must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt their operation, upload malicious code, or misrepresent your identity.
We expect learners to treat tutors and other learners respectfully. We may take reasonable and proportionate action if a learner seriously or repeatedly engages in abusive, harassing, unlawful, or materially disruptive behaviour.
Where appropriate, we will explain the concern and give the learner a chance to respond or correct the behaviour. We may suspend or remove a learner immediately where reasonably necessary to protect someone’s safety or prevent serious disruption. Any decision about fees or refunds will take account of the circumstances, the services already supplied, and applicable law.
9. Technology requirements
Unless the course description states otherwise, learners are responsible for ensuring they have access to:
- A laptop or desktop computer (recommended)
- A stable internet connection
- A current web browser
- A valid email address for course communications
- Any software specifically stated in the course description
We are not responsible for access problems caused by your equipment, software, or internet connection. This does not affect any rights you may have if the problem is caused by our service or learning platform.
10. Course outcomes and liability
We will provide our courses with reasonable care and skill. Course descriptions and learning materials are for general information and learning purposes. Unless expressly stated in the course description, we do not promise that completing a course will result in examination success, a particular qualification, certification, employment, or a specific learning outcome.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of data, or loss of anticipated savings arising from the use of our courses or website.
Our total liability in connection with any course shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that course.
12. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
13. Third-party websites and platforms
Our website or courses may link to or use third-party websites and platforms. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party content or services, except where applicable law makes us responsible.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in law, our services, or how our courses operate. The latest version will be published on our website with its revision date.
Changes will generally apply to orders placed after the revised terms are published. We will not use a website update alone to make a material change to an existing booking where the change requires your agreement.
15. Complaints
If you have a concern about a course or our service, please contact us through Contact us page and we will review the matter and respond within a reasonable time.
16. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
